Dr. Hagen practices general adult psychiatry, with a preference for ages 16 and up. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics (UIHC) in 1998. She completed additional fellowship training in Neuropsychiatry at the Clinical Research Center studying neuroimaging of mood and psychotic disorders and late-onset psychosis. She remained at UIHC for an additional six years as Staff Psychiatrist with focus on Partial Hospital programming for mood and personality disorders. Dr. Hagen also has special interests in women’s mental health issues and consultation-liaison psychiatry.
