 View This Provider's Policies Charlie Novak, MD is a board certified psychiatrist who has been in private practice in Boise, Idaho for the last twenty years. He is a distinguished fellow member of the board of the American Psychiatric Association, a past President of the Idaho Psychiatric Association, and presently is the Government Relations Representative of the Idaho Psychiatric Association. In 1992 and 1998 he was honored with the Exemplary Psychiatrist Award from the National Alliance of the Mentally Ill. He has been the Adult Acute Hospital Services Program Director for Intermountain Hospital in Boise over the last 20 years and is the consulting psychiatrist for the Assertive Community Treatment Team of the State of Idaho Region IV mental health programs. Dr. Novak has also served as the medical director for the State of Idaho Employee Assistance program for five years in the 1990’s. He has been in a hospital based psychiatric practice over twenty years in Boise and has been involved in consultative liaison hospital work as well as outpatient clinic and private practice work settings. Dr. Novak is also an owner and Medical Director of Sage Health Care, a private psychiatric multidisciplinary outpatient clinic in Boise, Idaho. |
