Leah Reagan, graduated from Boise State University with her Masters degree in Counseling in 2002 after completing an intensive internship at Warm Springs Counseling Center. She spent the next five years as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Warm Springs Counseling Center working with children, adolescents and adults. During that time she obtained her Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor license while continuing her work at Warm Springs Counseling Center.
In 2007, she entered private practice where she continued to work with children, adolescents and adults. Overall, Leah Reagan has spent 11 years successfully working in outpatient settings with children, adolescents, and adults in the Treasure Valley. She is a proponent of cognitive behavioral therapy and believes that many people can benefit from learning ways to change negative thinking and replace non-productive behaviors with those that are more functional. She also frequently uses art and expressive therapies, especially with children and adolescents. Leah is a relaxed and supportive therapist who provides a comfortable atmosphere that allows clients to explore their issues in a safe and supported environment.
She has experience working with, anxiety, depression, Asperger's disorder, learning disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, adjustment disorders, divorce reaction, behavioral problems, oppositional defiant disorder, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, grief and loss, and with victims of sexual and physical abuse. She provides a relaxed and caring environment designed to assist clients in processing the events occurring in their lives and help them to develop new coping strategies and ways of thinking.
