Travis Haase is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.  He was born and raised in Kuna, Idaho and attended the University of Idaho and received his bachelor's degree in psychology.  Upon completion of his undergraduate work he accepted a position at Intermountain Hospital and later began a master’s program through Walden University, a non-traditional online program.  He worked as a Psychiatric Technician at Intermountain Hospital caring for both acute inpatient psychiatric adults and adolescents.  While in the master’s program his internships was completed at All Together Now, a mental health clinic in Boise, ID where he learned to perform play and sand tray therapy as an outpatient counselor.

While completing his Master’s program he continued to work at Intermountain Hospital in the social services department.  He worked on both the adult and adolescent psychiatric inpatient units.  Daily he would facilitate cognitive behavioral therapy groups, family therapy, and individual therapy.  In addition to this he would also conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment and discharge plans for individuals.  Beginning in May of 2012 he ended his employment with Intermountain Hospital and transitioned his services to St. Luke's Elk Children's Rehab as a pediatric counselor for their outpatient clinics.

Travis' current interests have been in organic processing of behaviors and the development of chronic mental illness.  Travis has clinical experience in working with individuals who struggle with mental health disorders including but not limited to, depression, mood disorders, bipolar, ADHD, pervasive developmental disorder, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorder and psychotic disorders.  He has experience in grief counseling and crisis management, with further education in cognitive behavioral therapy, desensitization, relaxation and behavioral modification.  He provides comfortable, clean and open environment to develop the most effective and direct line to solutions and resolutions.
