What is EMDR?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based psychotherapy approach designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences, distressing memories, anxiety, and other emotional challenges. Through a structured therapeutic process, EMDR helps the brain reprocess difficult experiences so they become less overwhelming and disruptive to daily life.
EMDR has been extensively researched and is recognized as an effective treatment for trauma and PTSD. It may also be beneficial for individuals struggling with anxiety, grief, phobias, and other concerns related to past experiences.
